THE THIRD EDITION OF THE D’GIRLS RESIDENTIAL TRAINING WORKSHOP
The third edition of the D’Girls Residential
Training which began on Thursday 3rd of September 2015 finally came
to a close on Saturday 5th September 2015. The training was organized
at Hotel Residence Carlos in Muea to train youths to become better Cameroonians
and inspire them to become agents of transformation. It should be noted that
this year’s edition of the D’Girls Residential Training brought together 20
participants, 5 volunteers, Staff of Rural Women Development Centre
(RUWDEC) and some renowned trainers. Speaking during the closing
Ceremony, Miss Yonger Nelly Shella the Director of RUWDEC and the Initiator of
the training thanked the participants for their corporation during the
training. She called on them to make maximum use of the knowledge gotten from
the training.
On behalf of the participants, Mr. Ojong Churchill
Ojong Arrey praised the Initiative of Miss Yonger Nelly and called on his
fellow trainees to go out as ambassadors of change. Peculiar in this year’s
edition of the training was an Environmental Challenge which saw participants
going in groups to conduct a survey on waste management around the Muea and
Bomaka communities. The workshop also saw the award of certificates of
participation and completion to some participants of the 2nd Edition
With the close of the third edition of the
Residential, the rendezvous has been taken for 2016
